Finch grew active connections 166% YoY in Q2 2025, expanded payroll & HR coverage to 250+ systems, and launched new developer and benefits features.
During the second quarter of this year, Finch doubled down on our mission-driven focus: building the unified infrastructure layer to power the employment ecosystem. We expanded our provider coverage while strengthening the foundation of our product to support Fortune 100s, startups, and everything in between.
The result? More employers and employees connected through our platform, more reliable data syncing across payroll and employer-sponsored benefits, and greater reach for the customers building on our infrastructure.
Finch is growing quickly and now powers more employers, employees, and service providers than ever before with even stronger reliability. The number of active employees connected through our platform grew by 30% this quarter — an increase of 166% over this time last year.
Our continued growth has helped us create momentum with enterprise service providers. In Q2 alone, three Fortune 500 companies (including two in the Fortune 100) chose Finch as their infrastructure partner: a leading global financial services company, a top three retirement recordkeeper by AUM, and a major employee benefits platform.
To scale while maintaining quality of service, we made several investments in our platform this quarter:
Reliable integrations aren’t just a feature, they’re a necessity. Every payroll system comes with its own quirks: unique error codes, MFA steps, and token validity rules. Finch’s approach is to unify these differences, handle errors gracefully, refresh tokens behind the scenes, and surface a clean user experience. Our north star is simple: minimal disruptions, no dropped connections, and accurate, timely data for every integration.
On top of this foundation, we continue to make measurable progress. In Q2, 90% of Finch connections maintained continuous access, with disruptions only occurring when an employer explicitly revokes or disconnects. This represents a step toward persistent connectivity—minimizing the need for re-authentication and ensuring data flows reliably over time. Coupled with an 80% decrease in authentication disruptions across our payroll network (now affecting less than 0.5% of all new connections, especially for our top providers), Finch is turning payroll complexity into dependable connections.
Finch now supports more than 250 HR and payroll systems, a milestone we reached with the addition of several new providers including ProxusHR, Skyward Payroll, Checkwriters, and SesameHR (now a formal Finch partner) — systems that were prioritized based on customer feedback and our evolving book of business.
By broadening the reach of our unified API, we help our customers to serve more of the market and close larger deals that are dependent on support for their existing providers — like Matter, who grew their average deal ACV by 67% with Finch.
“Now we never have a sales call where we don't have a company’s needs met. We’re closing larger deals now, quite successfully. Finch definitely made that happen.” — Brett Hellman, CEO of Matter
Our customers can now customize their display name and logo within the Finch Connect experience directly from the Dashboard. Familiar branding throughout the connection flow creates an enterprise-level user experience and builds trust with employers, reducing drop-offs and improving conversion rates.

Powering connectivity and integrations for employer-sponsored benefits continues to be a core focus area at Finch. In Q2, we deepened our coverage for retirement integrations, captured a majority of the ICHRA market, and improved our processing speed for Benefits.
In addition to PensionPro and ASC, Finch is now fully compatible with FIS Relius, one of the most trusted plan administration platforms in the retirement industry. This integration expedites sponsor onboarding and automatically imports payroll and census data from the sponsors’ payroll systems directly into Relius.
Our focus on the employment industry allows Finch to support legacy benefits like Retirement while enabling modern benefits like ICHRA to enter the market. ICHRAs benefit employers by keeping costs affordable and predictable, while giving employees access to coverage that is tailored to their specific needs.
Following 12 months of rapid growth, Finch now supports a majority of all of the ICHRA players in the market. Our infrastructure delivers the tools needed to scale, including reduced time-to-quote, streamlined onboarding, simple enrollment, and ongoing deductions/premiums management.

In Q1, we launched 2-day processing time for all Deductions integrations (five days faster) in beta. This quarter, we expanded that SLA to all Finch customers across every Deductions integration. Additionally, our ADP Run integration now supports real-time processing.
This improvement is key to enabling our customers to be compliant with regulatory requirements for processing enrollment changes.
Finch’s infrastructure benefits every arm of an organization, but it was built with developers in mind. This quarter we continued to invest in the developer experience, making it easier to build, test, and scale integrations on Finch:
These improvements are designed to give developers more speed, transparency, and control when building with Finch.
The first half of 2025 saw our platform grow and mature while we paved the way for accelerated growth with enterprise-grade reliability, expanded coverage, and developer improvements. We’re excited to carry this progress forward in H2 and beyond as we advance our mission to build the infrastructure that powers every facet of work.
