Questions to ask when comparing unified APIs

Can this unified API get me the data I care about?

Not every unified API will be able to offer the data you need, even if they support the integration. We suggest compiling a list of crucial providers and data fields, and then closely examining field support documentation to ensure proper coverage.

How quickly can they add new providers I request?

If a unified API accepts new integration requests, make sure to ask for details. How often are requests added to the roadmap? How soon can you expect to connect an employer? With Finch Assist, requested integrations can be added (in beta) in just 7 days.

Can I write changes back to the payroll systems?
